My Week in Photos | 14/08
Hey lovelies. I had this idea to start doing a regular weekly post about what I’ve done during the week as described by the pictures I’ve taken. I take a LOT of photos so thought it would be a nice way to document my life, this is my blog after all and I know in the future I will enjoy reading back on these. Who knows if I’ll keep this up as a regular series, or if people will enjoy reading them, or if I’ll even do anything interesting enough in the week to warrant a post but we’ll see.
So here are a few photos that describe my busy week in-between working a full time job:
It was my brother in-law’s 30th birthday the other day so I went to town with my sister to get a few little bits before we went out for a meal, can you believe I got this weekly planner from the POUNDSHOP?! It does fool you into believe the writing is foil gold, however that’s just the front page, the other pages are just a plain matte printed gold colour but for £1 I still think it’s pretty amazing! I can’t wait to use this to plan my blogposts.
Hitting 1,000 all time page views
I hit 1,000 page views on my blog!! To some this might not seem like much but it is an achievement I am so so proud of! I started this blog back in January and neglected it a bit during university and exams. Since July I’ve been putting a lot of effort in, so to reach 1,000 views means so much to me.
A day in London
On Sunday it was my Auntie’s 60th birthday so some of my family went out for a “boozy brunch” however the bar we were gonna go to didn’t have any gas to cook the food! We ended up getting lots of free prosecco and they ordered in some nibble bits of breakfast items like croissants and muffins which was amazing, they did it all for free! We then headed over to a place called “flight club” where we played electronic darts, it was so so cool I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something quirky to do in london! That’s where I took the picture of the bar, it was themed like a fairground. We spent the rest of the day walking through central and going in various bars, a lot of alcohol was consumed. Sunday was definitely the best day of the week as I got to spend time with some of my family that I don’t see often and my boyfriend came down to stay too.
What exciting things did you get up to in the week?
