The best Acne face mask? | L’Oréal Pure Clay Detox mask Review
Hey lovelies. Today I’m sharing a review of the L’oreal pure clay detox mask. It’s one of 5 masks in their ‘pure clay’ range. I’m always trying different products to help my acne skin, I did a post on my acne skincare routine here if you want to hear more products that help me. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my acne skin since using this so I was eager to share it with you.
The Detox mask is described as:
“Enriched with Black Charcoal which acts like a magnet to draw out impurities.
The creamy texture of this deep cleansing face mask detoxifies the skin’s surface and works deep into the pores, leaving the skin looking clarified and beautified.
Smooth a layer onto your skin and experience the relaxing fragrances.”

The detox mask comes in a gorgeous glass jar giving it a luxurious feel. It claims to have 10 uses, however this is easily pushed to at least 12, especially if you are just using the mask on targeted areas as I have found that a little goes a long way.
I apply this with a flat foundation brush to make it easy and mess free, concentrating on problem areas. The fragrance is lovely, it smells really refreshing.
Once the mask is on the skin it draws out all the impurities as it dries. What I really love about it is that you can witness it happening too, it dries into little dots where it’s bringing all the toxins out of your skin.
After letting it dry I rinse it off with warm water, sometimes with the help of a flannel. You’re left behind with visibly clearer skin and reduced redness. My skin feels soft and my oils are balanced. Overall it improves the clarity and makes my acne skin look so much better!
This is one of my all time favourite face masks now. I can always judge if I think a product is great on whether or not I would buy it again, and this I will definitely be repurchasing again and again.
I’m eager to try the other L’Oreal pure clay masks now. Have you tried any of the masks in this range?
