On my quest to find something to nourish my hair as well as trying to be more ethical, I decided to buy a shampoo bar from Lush. I actually had one of these years ago as a teenager to help with my hormonal hair so I knew a little bit about them before hand.
Each Lush shampoo bar does the same job as THREE! 250g bottles of liquid shampoo! That’s a lot of plastic wastage, and a lot of money saved.
In the store the lady recommended the Jason and the Argan Oil shampoo bar as it’s meant to be really nourishing. I’ve used argon oil on my hair before and it’s been lovely so I knew this one would probably work.

There are numerous ways to use it – You can either massage it into a lather in your hands and then clean your hair. Or you can massage the bar directly into your scalp.
I am absolutely loving using this shampoo bar. It smells gorgeous and leaves my hair feeling so clean and soft. I like to use the method of massaging it directly into my scalp as I feel like it cleans my hair much better. I would definitely say it’s made my hair softer and shinier too. It’s cruelty free, plastic free and makes my hair feel great, an all round amazing product.
Lush also sells conditioner bars which I think I’m going to buy next!
