Bali balm_best lip balm for dry lips

I fortunately got sent a beautiful tube of luxury lip-balm from an amazing ethical company called Bali Balm. I tend to have dry lips quite often and always struggle to find a decent lip balm so was very excited to try this one out.

About the brand

Bali Balm are a sustainable, ethical Luxury lip-balm company tailored for men and women. They are incredible when it comes to being ethical, all the tubes are 100% recyclable which is great, especially with all the plastic waste issues in the world.  The company also helps support organisations in Bali to help make the world a better place.  The lip balm itself is also in fact actually made in Bali which is lovely.

They have four flavours to choose from:

  • Bergamot and Grapefruit
  • Cinnamon and Burnt Orange
  • Lemon and Black Pepper
  • Sandalwood and Ginger

All of their products are vegan and 100% natural, including no animal derived products such as beeswax which is great for the bees!

Bali Balm Bergamot and Grapefruit lip balm

I got sent the flavour Bergamot and Grapefruit which I love! I definitely think this would be my favourite scent of the four.

“Clean, crisp and citrusy fresh, this creamy lip balm gets its alluring aroma from the essential oils of bergamot and grapefruit. Bergamot oil is known to have both calming and uplifting effects, while the grapefruit acts as a purifying agent.”

The Verdict

Overall this is honestly hands down the best lip balm I have ever used. It makes my lips feel incredibly nourished, and applying it before bed I can still feel it working on my lips in the morning!

The smell is gorgeous, and it’s such a lovely feeling knowing that I’m using an ethical product with strictly no animal derivatives as well as actually being made in Bali!

Unfortunately my one negative point would be the price tag, they cost £20 each which is a lot for my student self. However they do brand them as a luxury lip balm, and the quality is great, so really you’re getting what you pay for.

I’m going to be using this daily especially now the weather is getting colder! I don’t want it to run out!

What lip products do you use for dry/chapped lips?

What a gorgeous product this is. I love the sound of the Cinnamon and Burnt Orange flavour – sounds perfect for autumn! My lips are really sensitive to the elements and chap easily. Like you say, £20 is quite a lot for a lip balm, but If it’s a luxury product I guess the occasional splurge is allowed! Would make a lovely gift idea. Love that it’s CF and vegan too. What’s not to love?!

I’m obsessed with Dr. Paw Paw products, and they leave my lips feeling so smooth and moisturised all the time. These lip balms sound lovely, and I love the ethical side of things, but £20 for a lip balm is enough to turn me off, sorry!

Wow I love live a good lip balm, I think this definitely sounds worth it’s price point and the fact that it’s vegan friendly too is a huge bonus x

Sounds like a lovely product! Your pictures are SO beautiful! I agree with you, the price is a bit expensive but if it’s considered as a “luxury” product then you pay for the quality. Great post my lovely x
