March Favourites 2020

March favourites flatlay

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all keeping safe with the current pandemic! March has been a bit of an emotional month for me as it had my birthday and mother’s day which were both really hard for me, and now we’re all stuck indoors. The weather has started to get warmer now though which is exciting! These favourites are all primarily skincare themed as we’re not going outside and I want to let my skin breath. So without further ado here are last months favourites..

The Ordinary glycolic acid

I don’t know why I don’t have a whole post dedicated to this amazing product – I’m currently on my second bottle! Essentially it’s an acid that you use in the evenings and it unclogs your pores and gets rid of dead skin cells. I’ve really noticed a difference in my skin lately after incorporating this back into my daily routine. Also, it’s super affordable.

March Favourites

Invogue glue on nails (AD – Gifted)

I was lucky enough to be gifted a bunch of nails from invogue. I tried some for the first time this month and LOVED them! If you’ve read my blog for a while or follow my instagram you’ll know how much I rave on about Primark nails. But the invogue ones are a new favourite… they last for so long and I didn’t need to trim them down. I’m currently writing a full review on them.

Specsaver Glasses

New Glasses

Is it weird to have glasses in your monthly favourites? Well I’m putting them in here! I had my regular 2 year check up recently but I knew my eyes had gotten worse anyway. However they were a lot worse than I thought they were! I got the usual 2-for-1 in Specsavers and picked up 2 pairs which I love, my favourite ones are pictured above.

Vichy 89 serum

A recommendation from a colleague, I bought this as I always love trying new products that help with dehydration. It’s really lightweight and sinks into your skin quickly. A new firm favourite!

Ocean D'argan crystal pearl eye gel cream

Ocean D’argan Eye gel (AD – Gifted)

I was lucky enough to be gifted this eye cream so I’ve been using it regularly to test it out. Packed full of great ingredients and vitamins, so far it’s been lovely to use. It feels very cooling and refreshing on the skin and soaks in really well.

Carmex Moisture plus Lip Balm – Peach tint

I love trying new lip balms and spreading them around my different bags/at my desk/at my bedside so that I know I’ve always got one to hand. I picked this up on a whim when queuing for the till in Primark. It makes your lips tingle and leaves a nice sheer tint. Plus it was only about £2 so was also a bargain!

Reuseable organic cotton pads

One of the last things I’ve started using in March that I bought in Primark are some reusable organic cotton pads. These are designed to be reused and to save waste from repeatedly buying cotton wool pads. I know that you can get these on Amazon too pretty cheap if you’re looking to get some! They’re much better for the environment and great if you use micellar water regularly.

So those were the items I have been loving during March – it was very skincare heavy! Have you used any of these products before?

Clare xx
