November favourites

It’s DECEMBER!!! That means Christmas! I’m really looking forward to Christmas this year because it’s a really important one for me and my family. We’re having a huge family day and I can’t wait!

I haven’t done a favourites in a little while. Now I’ve been clearing my acne (thanks to Dermalogica) I haven’t been wearing much makeup so it’s hard to pick favourites if I haven’t been using anything. But I have used a few things more regularly in November so here are a few favourites.

Dermalogica skin soothing cream review best moisturiser for dry skin

Dermalogica – Skin smoothing cream

I’ve been raving on about this cream all over my instagram and done a full post on it here. To summarise, it’s an amazing all round moisturiser that instantly hydrates dry skin and leaves it feeling soft and eliminates dryness.

Chanel Coco mademoiselle

Chanel – Coco Mademoiselle Perfume

My boyfriend kindly bought this for me in duty free coming back from a stag do (what an angel). I’ve never owned an expensive perfume brand before, so felt very lucky. It’s obvious why they’re so expensive though, they are incredible! It smells beautiful. I literally only spray 2 sprays of this and it lasts ALL day and longer. It’s so strong that my watch permanently smells like it from where I’ve worn it.

Primark Beauty highlighter palette

Primark Beauty – highlight palette

I’ve been trying to use my other products more and realised I hadn’t used this much. I forgot how pretty it was. The pink shade in particular has been my favourite lately.

Wax Lyrical Gingerbread man candle Christmas candle

Wax Lyrical – Gingerbread man candle

I got this in Tesco for a tiny £4 and it smells heavenly! It’s perfect for this festive season and I used it whilst decorating my Christmas tree. I spoke about it in more detail here.

Huda Mauve Obsessions eye Palette
Huda mauve Obsessions eyeshadow palette

Huda – Mauve Obsessions Palette

I’ve been reaching for this palette again recently. It’s so so gorgeous! I’ve written a post with a step by step eyeshadow look here if you’re looking for some inspiration, Or I’ve even found a £4 dupe for it if you don’t want to break the bank!

Bourjois sculpt light strobing highlighter

Bourjois – Sculpt light strobing highlighter

I have not seen anyone else in the blogging world mention this and I don’t know why!! I got this as a free gift on one of those promotional deals when you spend a certain amount on the brand. It’s such a beautiful creamy illuminating highlighter and really universal. I put a pump on the back of my hand, smooth some into my finger tips and then blend it on my cheek bones, nose bridge and Cupid’s bow. It gives you such a subtle illumination to your face. It’s honestly stunning and I’ve been using it all year.

What did you love during November?

Clare xx
