Hey lovelies, October is here woooo! I’m So excited for Halloween and to have a play around with makeup creating some cool looks. I didn’t post an August favourites as I was pretty much using the same products as I was in July and I didn’t buy anything new to be excited about. So here I am with a September favourites featuring a lot of new products I’m really loving.
NYX Warm Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette
I’ve had this palette since December last year and I was in love with it all through winter! It seems other people have only just discovered its existence lately as well as I’ve seen so much hyper over it lately, and it’s because it’s so beautiful, and perfect for Autumn! I’ve been using the darker shades a lot more recently as we are going into colder months, you can’t beat dark browns and berry shades for Autumn.
Benefit Erase Paste Concealer
This is another product I’ve owned for quite a while. I’ve been using it everyday lately because it is so good at counteracting with my blue tones under my eyes and it does an amazing job of really brightening up the eye area. It has lasted me such a long time as well so it was a great investment.
Silicone Face Brush
This pink rubber tool might look a little strange, but I have noticed a massive difference using it! I bought this in a set of 2 in primark, I have seen them on eBay for quite a while too but I just never bought it because I didn’t think it would be any good. I initially bought it to use when cleansing my face to really help remove all my makeup which it does really well. But I’ve also been using it with my La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo to really work the product into my skin. In the mornings I’ve noticed my skin to be a lot brighter than it normally is, which tells me its the silicone brush working!
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
This was ever so kindly sent to me by Abigail from Freedom PR and I’ve fallen in love. I was a bit nervous to see how this would work as it’s an oil and you use it by rubbing it all over your face and then gently wiping away all the dirt, makeup and oil with a damp cloth. Well, It works amazingly! It removes every bit of stubborn makeup, and the best bit is it leaves my skin feeling so soft and nourished afterwards. I suffer with dry skin so this has been a lifesaver, even when I’ve used it at night I wake up in the morning with skin softer than normal.

Rimmel Insta Conceal & Correct Palette
I’ve always used a green concealer over my redness anyway as I suffer a lot with blemishes, but I’d never used a cream concealer in a pan like this before. The Rimmel conceal & Correct palette is very blend-able and creamy to use and great at concealing my redness. I’ve also been experimenting with the purple shade to help brighten up my skin it is supposed to counteract any dullness you have. I’ve been using it on my cheek bones and it brightens my face up so much. This has been in my makeup bag everyday and I’m sure I’ve had some funny looks on the train to work doing my makeup and putting green and purple on my face!
Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Amazing Makeup Fixing Spray
First of all, this smells so good. I can’t even describe it, it’s sort of like the sweets Parma violets? This ensures my makeup stays on beautifully! I’m so disappointed in myself for not buying a setting spray sooner in my life because I have been missing out! I like using this mainly for long days at work or nights out where I’m gonna be getting hot an my makeup might melt off. My makeup stays on perfectly, even when I’ve (naughtily) slept in my makeup, I’ll wake up in the morning and there is my makeup still in tact. Its great.
