What I got for my birthday 2019

Hey lovelies. It’s been a few weeks since my 23rd birthday and I wanted to share what I got with you guys. Last year I wrote a post about 21 things I learnt before turning 22.

I absolutely love reading what people get for Christmas and their birthdays, (I wrote about Christmas 2017 here). I don’t see it as showing off, I like to see it as appreciating what you have, I often read back on that Christmas post and think about how lucky I am.

So if you like being nosy like me, this post is for you! I’ve kept it short because I think the photos say enough.

What I got

First of all my boyfriend got me this gorgeous rose gold necklace and matching earrings. It’s so cliché for a blogger to love rose gold I know… but I do so much! I didn’t even ask him for anything he thought of it all by himself, and he knows me so well! I love it.

Next up I got a bottle of raspberry Gin from one of my friends and a bottle of Manx Gin from My Auntie. Manx Gin is from the Isle of man where she lives and I’d never had it before! I can confirm it tastes amazing if you like fruity/floral gins.

I then got a lot of girly bits from my family and friends! Including travel sized beauty products, some hairbands, Grey Vans, tweezers, acrylic makeup storage, blusher, 2 cosmetic bags and a tripod for my phone to take blog photos! I also got some Primark press on nails which I am currently wearing so couldn’t photograph, and a T-shirt that has a silhouette of Lilo and Stitch on saying ‘Ohana’ that I also forgot to photo as it was in the wash.

Also my friend and my sister ended up getting me the matching set without even realising! Stitch is one of my all time favourite characters.

I was also really lucky to get money from my boyfriends family, Tickets to go see the rapper Dave with my best friend, and I’m also going to a gin festival with my sister! So I’m really looking forward to those.

I’m so lucky for everything I received and I love them all.

What are your favourite type of presents to receive? I absolutely love sentimental ones and ones such as days out because I think time spent with people is really valuable.

Clare xx
